This recently built bungalow of traditional design and construction, is situated in it's own grounds on a working sheep farm, and takes advantage of the lovely views of the River Spey and the Lochaber Hills beyond.
Completed to a high standard, the house offers homely, welcoming, warm accommodation, with extensive use of natural wood and attractive, comfortable furnishings. Sleeps 5 + baby. Bed linen is provided.
Comprising 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower room; 1 twin and 1 single bedroom (cot available); bright south facing lounge with open fire; Well equiped kitchen/dining room, utility room, and bathroom. The cottage is heated by Total Control electric central heating plus open fire. Equipment includes fridge, auto washing machine, tumble drier, colour television, and microwave.
The house is in a quiet secluded location, perfect for a `get away from it all` holiday. This is an excellent area for bird watching and wildlife, and fishing can be arranged on the River Spey. It is a good spot to tour the lovely surrounding countryside and there are many places of historical interest and natural beauty within easy reach.
You'll also find 'Katrina's Cottage, Glenbogle' just 100 metres away, a derelict cottage that was used in the Television series "Monarch of the Glen" as the School Teachers cottage. It was also the "Museum" in the second series.
Golf and pony trekking can be enjoyed in Newtonmore (9 miles), and in season skiing is available at Aviemore (25 miles) and Aonach Mor (35 miles)
